When I was younger this movie used to come on HBO every other day, and I watched it every time. Ok, so I had a bit of a crush on Lucas Haas but I really liked this movie too.
Watching it now I get a lot of what's going on than I did as a kid. Back then I only saw it as a semi-creepy ghost tale but it's much deeper than that. The ghost tale only surrounds a strong family bond.
I had no specific reason for choosing this as my first movie but it's been on my Tivo and I wanted to dust off my memory, check it out again and remember when Lucas didn't hid his big ears with long messy hair.
Lady in White isn't exactly a horror movie but as kid I considered it one. A dead girl, roughly my age re-living her death every night. Her ghost roaming around in search for her mom. Baah! It ends sweetly but still!
